This study examines how a pilot implementation of the new official Mandombe pedagogy alters the way learning trajectories should be described and assessed in Congolese primary schooling. We analyse longitudinal records from 2019–2023 in a subset of CENA's Nsandas in Kinshasa designated as trial sites.
